For these past few years, this thought has been gnawing at the back of my mind: I want to be a mortician, specifically an embalmer (not a "funeral director"). I watched Okuribito (which is a MUST SEE film) for the first time about three years ago and it resonated deeply with me. It follows a young man in beginning his career as an encoffiner, which is basically the Japanese equivalent of a mortician or undertaker here.
