I haven't been a frequent dA user for some time, visiting the site only occasionaly. Can't express how surprised - and happy, obviously - I was to discover one of my photos ( Jonah ) had been awarded the title of a Daily Deviation. Thanks to all the people involved it its nomination. And thanks for all the lovely comments I keep reading. :)

DeviantART has just notified me that one of my pictures has been sold! Thank you to whoever decided to adorn their walls with a copy of my work. It is greatly appreciated.And a thought, sort of by the way... I don't think there is a greater way of showing people your appreciation than by paying for whatever they do. This little sale of mine has just made me realise deviantART is not just for publishing your art, it is also a market for buying and selling. An idea I've been toying with for some time - to get round to shooting people portraits. Never had enough time, proper gear or models. The last one being probably the most difficult part of the equasion. Decided to do something about it before I get so senile I woun't be able to hold my camera. ;) I'll be interested in your opinions on the results of my first proper photoshoot with Klaudia. Any constructive criticism will be more than welcome. Oh, and this is not to say I'm giving up nature photography. Definitely not. :-)
