Since the year is coming to a close, I thought it would be appropriate to share an end of the year update with anyone who cares, although it will most likely be swept away in the ether.
This year started out rocky with many delays due to unforeseen circumstances and health issues, which were quite perturbing since I was more motivated than ever to keep writing and making art—and I still am of course.
Through it all I managed to complete at least 75% of one character's POV, so that is something to be proud of, I think; considering that when I began working on Part II of my novel back in April, I decided to change perspectives to an entirely different character from the one I had originally written. As you can imagine, it came with many challenges. I have mentioned this before in a previous post: this character's view of the world opposes the main character's from Part I, so it was incredibly difficult to step into their shoes after being in Faye's head for so
