What I like about this picture is that it really captures the Skull Throne and headhunting ideals that the disciples of Khorne are dedicated to by having the most powerful non-Daemon servant of the Blood God seated on a pile of skulls from his fallen enemies. What's clever about Kharn's throne is that you cannot see the bottom of it, really adding to the idea of Kharn being a century-old warrior without equal.

I also found the flames around Kharn's hand to be an interesting and innovative addition to the Chaos Lord. Both he and his patron god bear a deep resentment towards Sorcerers, the seemingly ethereal flames contrasting with this deep-seated aspect of the character. On the other hand, this can also be interpreted as a subtle reference to the Burning Brand of Skalathrax, the flamer Kharn used to burn an entire planet in his fury. Given that the fire is also in the same hand he uses to wield Gorechild, this captures the idea of Kharn's limitless hate and anger.

The chains I interpreted as a metaphor of Kharn's history of war. The chains on his arms are exclusively on his leading hand, the hand that was used to carve thousands of battlefields to gory pieces. Then there were the chains attached to his belt, and I noticed how some of them were hooked into a skull. To me, this seemed to represent how Kharn is a prisoner to bloodshed and death, the chains and embodiment of his eternal bond to Khorne and his god's demands to forever wage a war that can never end.

Overall, a frakkin' good piece of work.

My eyes bugged out when I saw this. I have seen some impressive MOCs, but this one takes the cake.

The first thing that caught my eye about him was actually not his size, but rather the colors. I found his red, black, and brown color scheme reminiscent of the Toa Kaita Akamai. The black and brown components were even on the same sides as Akamai as well! When I read his description about how Teridax absorbed the Titans into himself to become this, it further reinforced the idea of this being a demonized Akamai as this was a Fusion.

What I also loved about this was the technique and innovation used for his construction. While there is general symmetry, the limbs are about the same proprotion while still featuring different designs. I noticed from the knees down, these differences were more prominent as each leg used different pieces that (to me at least) signify how this is Teridax having aborbed several others into himself to become this. These subtle differences are also contrasted by the similarities as you used the Nuva Hau and Kanohi Huna for his feet, possibly symbolizing how Teridax sees Toa as nothing more then something for him to step on.

Overall, an incredibly detailed and well-crafted masterpiece.
