I was a vendor at the Nordic Fire Festival, a three day festival held in Charlotte, MI. The festivities started Friday night with the burning of a replica of a Viking ship. The crowds of Vikings braved the cold winter's night to cheer as the flames lit up the night sky. There were Viking villages to explore. Vikings demonstrated: swordmaking, cooking, weaving, woodworking, and Viking board games. I spoke with a Viking apothecary. The crowds wore furs and helmets and enjoyed the chance to be a Viking for three days. #nordicfirefestival #mnff #vikingfestival

I was a vendor at Mythicon 2025, a three day festival in Gettysburg, PA. A crowd of happy participants paraded their way past all the creative vendors. The vendors were selling: hats, crowns, jewelry, clothing, home decor for a fairy cottage, books and games. I took a hula hoop class. I got tips to improve my waist hooping and learned some off body moves. There was entertainment during the day and at the balls at night. My favorites were Frenchy and the Punk, also SJ Tucker and Kiva. This was my first festival of fairy season and I was happy to see my fairy friends after the winter break. #mythicon #renfair #fantasyfestival

Ravenwood Ren Fair 2025 I was a vendor at The Ravenwood Ren Fair. It is held for two weekends in October at the Fredericks County Fairgrounds. The weather was perfect fall weather: sunny and cool. The trees were just beginning to turn orange and red. Beautiful. They love horses at Ravenwood and there were three different displays of horsemanship and chivalry. The patrons were encouraged to pet the horses and ask questions. The performers included a circus, magicians. musicians, dancers and actors. There were many vendors selling: woodworked items, jewelry, crochet items, glassware and clothing. The days were full of enough activities and shopping to keep everyone happy.
