Description
My mom got a mini donut maker as a family gift for Christmas this year, and I spent a snowy Sunday afternoon helping her make these. She did the cooking, and I did half of the decorating (she did the other half). In total it made between 40-50 bite-sized donuts - we used a plain yellow cake mix, but we're anxious to try other flavors and make different kinds of donuts! A recipe book was also included with the maker, and my mom really wants to try buttermilk donuts sometime, so we'll see how that goes. Definitely looking forward to it! 😋
Of the varieties shown here, we have buttercream-iced with leftover candies from this year's cookie house, cinnamon, plain buttercream-iced, sugared, and powdered sugar. I've tried just about all of them, and I can assure you that they are just as delicious as they look! ;D (Don't ask me to pick a favorite. XD)
Anyway, feast your eyes and I hope you enjoy! Also posted on my Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=1979518295859934&set=a.1701536890324744
