General Guy
Leader of the Shy Guys
Born in the Koopa Kingdom to a military-family. He went through his childhood strongly admiring his father, a shy guy with renowned espionage skills. Young General strongly aspired to join the military himself; he would become a master strategist at a young age and his family, politically important, ascertained some military strength. The General Guy would recruit a small, mercenary army from the 8-Bits, a group known for many activities. The General, using the army, would begin to display a skill at leading through raids on the countryside of the Mushroom Kingdom. Bolstering his family's political power, the General found himself in the King Bowser's good graces. He would be elevated to one of the high commanders of Bowser's army. From here, he organized several of Bowser's grandiose strategies for war. Unfortunately, due to the Mario brothers, his strategies time and time again ended in disaster; the Koopa Kingdom never seemed to gain anymore than it lost. Bowser restricted him to the shy guy corps.
General Guy, inspired to become important once more, began fueling his own aspirations. With the help of a magikoopa, the General forged a grand fort and had it shrunken in size. With strategic placement, he had it sneaked into Toad Town itself. This Toy Box became the HQ of the Shy Guys, who began to steal, pillage, and raid the Mushroom Kingdom capitol. With this position, they would also provide intel to Bowser and would provide integral help behind the scenes for Bowser's attacks on the Kingdom.
Regaining Bowser's trust, the General was entrusted with a Star Spirit - Muskular. With a powerful star spirit, he would hold it up in the Toy Box, imprisoning it. During the second phase of Bowser's plan, he would begin utilizing guerrilla warfare against the citizens of Toad Town, and would often loot whatever wasn't nailed down. Such tactics did not go unnoticed - Mario infiltrated the Toy Box in search of the Star Spirit. Despite the fortress's best defenses and the combined strength of the Shy Guy army, Mario managed to confront the General. General Guy, desperate, utilized his secret weapon: a tank capable of firing Lightning. The tank, strongly fortified, took any damage dished out by Mario and the bulk of his partners with ease. Watt proved most useful, being immune to the lightning and capable of electrifying the General himself. The tank, incapable of holding up, was destroyed. The General, provoked into a tactical retreat, left the Toy Box.
Bowser did not seem to notice the General's failure, as the entire plan appeared to fall apart. The General retained his control over the shy guy army, but seemed to take more of a backseat, paranoid of being defeated - and shamed - once more.
