[HBD] forest stream

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DENISE!!! I was going to leave this as a simple colored sketch but..... my artist side got the better of me :'D

Just recently saw Denise post a reference of her super beautiful unicorn bby Rosamund Phoebe, and i wanted to try drawing her!! //v\\

The weird thing is that whenever I imagine forests, I always think of a fantasy forest that has some sweeping willow trees and a clear sparkly stream lined with large stones ;v; /// As a result, this made me unintentionally paint an illustration similar to the one I drew a little over a year ago --


Regardless of the redundant background, I'm still happy about how much I seem to have improved on painting backgrounds (and fullbody sitting anatomy) since then! So that's good~
Also I still can't believe how it only took me about 3 hours to finish this, from sketch to lighting Of course, everything's really really messily painted and you can still see the sketch lines underneath _{and I couldn't be bothered to fix the supporting hand..//hides} but I think it looks as good as any of my neatly lined+colored works. If only my full illust commissions were this quick to finish as well.... perhaps I should ditch my lineart process sometime in the near future, haha!
