A dream come true- Distant

Yeah, the theme of this contest was dreams, and no, it's not my dream to become Pikachu and float with some balloons attached on my back, even though that'd be kinda cool ;D
i think my "dream" might not actually be anything special, or maybe not even a dream, but don't you sometimes wish that it was possible, just sometimes, during the day, to allow your mind to drift off and just forget everything about you? Memories of the past, tensions of the present, fears of the future, just let them be for one second, and just become lighter than air and go to a place where no sound can reach you, merged in silence, oblivion, peace.
Then again, I sometimes wish to relive some moments of my life, think of what could have been different if I had made other choices, or imagine myself making choices, and what would happen. Pikachu here is kinda supposed to represent all of my childhood memories, and to some extent my present self. And the world we live in, how it changes, and changes us in the process too. I'm curious to see what life has in stock for me, and what tomorrow has to offer.


In the end, I simply think that my dream is the promise of a new day everytime I go to sleep.
