Still trying to add material and now I have got the flu, which has slowed this old man down again (72)
At last! Someone on DA who is even older than me!
I turned 70 recently.
A couple I know sent me a card which read -
"Remember! Growing old is unavoidable. Growing up is optional."
Luckily some nice people came and gave me a flu jab.

I'm okay now but the dog has just been spayed and has to be kept on the lead for a fortnight (It's a cocker, so that is not easy and living in The Highlands of Scotland with freezing rain, fog, snow has not made it easy either - tempers have flared).

Every time I lean forward I have a sneezing fit. Every time I lean back, I have a coughing fit (Ah gravity!). I now also have a broken tooth but no current dentist.
