Description
Digital painting commission for a client of their old Friesian mare. It was an honour to bring her to life again. I worked closely from photos to get her facial expression right, but her body pose was painted from imagination.
Something I really enjoy doing is studying photos of a beloved pet and creating a completely new composition that the owner hasn't seen before. I've also done this for clients who didn't have very good photos of their pet to work from, which is not a problem because I can reconstruct the animal in any pose they choose.
My commission wait list is full at the moment but I will make an announcement with prices when I'm ready to take on more work.
