I got a call from home yesterday afternoon to find out my cat Mittens, whom we've had for sixteen years, is dying.Mom noticed she was yellow, and took her to the vet - where she found out her liver's enlarged, and probably cancerous. We can't afford to treat her, and there's no guarantee of success anyway, because she's an older cat. So the decision was made, that tomorrow morning at 10:15, Mom and my sister are going to take Mittens to the vet, and have her put to sleep.This is all happening in Tennessee, and I'm out here in Minneapolis; she's been a part of my life for as long as I can remember - I don't have a single memory she's not a ...

Jesus. Last quarter was nuts.
