It probably needs to be studied in detail. But paleontologist David Hone is convinced that it's distinct from Tarbosaurus. And he's seen both Raptorex and juvenile Tarbosaurus specimens in person.
That's true for all spinosaurids. Suchomimus is most similar to Ceratosuchops and Riparovenator, and then to Baryonyx and kin.
The skulls are still fairly different. And much less is known about the skull of Suchomimus. Irritator is basically the template for all Spinosaur skulls as it's the best preserved. Suchomimus is also a Baryonychine and Irritator is a Spinosaurine.
