"The Girl and the Fox" has taken 2nd place and the student Emmy awards!!!!!!!!!!!!As the first film I ever worked on, responsible for character design, environment design, and background painting, I am super pleased! Everything came together and I am so lucky to be working with the many talented people of tomorrow right now. Working on my second film for Base14, "Rain Dance," I just received a bolt of energy from the news about TGTF.So a big round of applause to everyone who contributed to "The Girl and The Fox," because that is awesome news.ps. the third place winner has worked for both Pixar AND Disney.GO BASE14!

On Wednesday I turned 21! I celebrated with friends that night at about 7 bars around Savannah..so many shots...I didn't wake up until 3:30pm yesterday, missing both my classes. oooops.In other news, "The Girl and The Fox" is going crazy! It's now a semi-finalist in the Adobe Design Achievement Awards, has been accepted to Atlanta Shortfest, and INVITED to show in the Puerto Rico International Film Festival Vieques!!! I have high hopes for TGTF!
