I can't wait to finish the new season of higurashi! Higurashi was one of my favorite anime growing up, and after rewatching it again recently with my girlfriend I can say it still holds up pretty well? At least in my opinion. The animation quality is something, but eh.. It was a good horror anime, I think! 

I played around with the background on this just a smidge. Hopefully, I've managed to create some illusion of depth in a flower field! I used to just throw a gaussian blur over everything and call it done, but hopefully desaturating the flowers and changing their colors makes them look farther away.
