I've always wanted to do a series of portraits of my OCs inspired by some pieces of art. As some of you may know, I study Art History, which is actually my greatest love after drawing. So I guess I simply had to do something like this sooner or later.
As you may notice in the future, most of the characters won't be placed in their times' masterpieces. This batch of drawings doesn't want to give an accurate historical depiction of the characters. It doesn't demand to perfectly imitate the style of the artists I'll choose. It will be just something emotional and based on my feelings.


Maxim's time! It was more difficult than expected. I knew that I would have placed him in some gentleman's portait of the past, but actually didn't know who. I considered Tiziano Vecellio, but then I reminded of a Selfportrait by Gianlorenzo Bernini. This time the reason is very simple: their facial features are really similar!
