I recently found out about focus stacking. A wonderful feature of digital photography, it seems. So you could have huge DOF on macro images. DOF is always a struggle when it comes to macro. Even higher f values are reduced to pathetic streaks of focus. Naturally I want bigger DOF, everyone does. But I also feel its a bit too much cheating.Or is it? Maybe its more of an attempt to overcome the limitations of technology and come one step closer to your own vision? Yet with macro we tread a very controversial area of personal 'vision'. The thing is, we don't see it. We simply can't see the facets on a fly's eye without employing technology. T...
I'm now a proud owner of a 10-24mm 3.5-4.5 lens. There's a lot that fits into that field of view. The trees, them buildings, lots of people, lots of stuff. I like it.Still best portraits come out if I use my old 50 mm.I want a new camera body now.
1) to use 2 lenses at the same time
2) to have a body with a better noise handling at higher ISOs
That'll hopefully keep me busy for some time while I take pictures of all the items I always wanted to take pictures of, yet never could due to focusing restrictions on my old lens.
Last time I checked your photos was about 4 years ago, when we talked about your cow reflection photo. I haven't been here for a long time, just wanted to say that your works have really imporved. you got a really beautiful gallery!
Your gallery definitely helps my morbid fascination with the macabre. I have quite a collection of 'natural leftovers' of sorts as well..just sadly not photographed.
