Seriously, this has been one of the most challenging pictures I've done in a while. It was hella exhausting. I spent like 16 hours on this, not counting a couple more I spent searching for references and inspiration and thinking about possible ways to display the characters, creatures and the type of background the commissioner requested.
But I'm very happy with the final result ♥
