Kaijune 2024 - Quantum Rad-Dragon

With House of the Dragon debuting, I did a fun thought exercise: How to transplant a dragon akin to A Song of Ice and Fire/Game of Thrones/House of the Dragon, and turn into something that might exist in Fallout?

Takes inspiration from Fallout Tactics and Nuka World

Originally a Komodo dragon from a zoo (a front, it's real purpose was to do genetic experiments on various animals and see what happens, the Komodo included), before the bombs dropped, it got a taste of a most addictive sweet drink known as Nuka-Cola, dropped by a careless zoo guest.

This had long term ramifications, as after the bombs dropped, not only did the radiation horribly mutate its body, but its mind was warped to have a need for Nuka Cola, on top of its base instinctual need for meat. This addiction to the sugary drink led to it traversing the wasteland in the search for more Nuka (and eating raiders stupid enough to try and fight it off), eventually leading to the motherload: a truck filled with Nuka Cola Quantum that was fresh off from a factory during its ill-fated debut to mass market.

After getting the mother of all cola highs,the strontium 90 laced drink irriadted the komodo and mutated it even further, and now it has become  a glowing blue irradiated flying monster that breathes blue fire and with saliva that burns anything it comes in contact with.

Design wise, I wanted to make sure it gives the vibe of something both powerful but, ultimately, suffering. It scraggly and disheveled look was inspired by the Yao Guai.
