If a white becoming a vampire makes them paler, should not black vampires be slate gray?
Rhetorical question.
Black skin turned dull Gray ALWAYS looks sickly awful. Now, if you’re aiming for a more outright scary, ghoulish black vampire, some might go with that, but for the sexy kind, like these, it just doesn’t do, cinematically speaking. Pale skin, however, has both beautiful and sickly shades.
It does produce a logical inconsistency that gets on my pedantic side’s nerves, just a bit.
One of those ponderable paradoxes.
