Description

Henry and Elizabeth were married January 18, 1486, at Westminster abbey, by their kinsman the Archbishop of Canterbury, “by whose hand,” says a quaint chronicler, “was first tied together the sweet posy of the red and white roses.”
"Though founded on pragmatism, Henry and Elizabeth’s marriage had nevertheless blossomed throughout the uncertainty and upheaval of the previous eighteen years. This was a marriage of ‘faithful love’, of mutual attraction, affection and respect, from which the king seems to have drawn great strength." - Thomas Penn, Henry VII - The Winter King.

so here a drawing for King Henry VII and Queen Elizabeth
i wanted to make it look like a stained glass window but it turned into a sort-of propaganda poster for the Glory of the first royal couple of the Tudor Dynasty lol which is perfectly fine since i love this couple and will defend it until my very last breath againts lies and awful fictions (historical fact: THEY LOVED AND RESPECTED EACH OTHER! --period)
i know that Henry seems very lean and almost thin, but he was, particularly in his last years because of his bad health.
