Wow, it's been 10 months and Donnie is still not over Leo hiding his medical condition. ^^;
Turtles live long, and they h o l d   g r u d g es! :dummy:

So! Today, it's been exactly 4 years (and 1 month) since I uploaded the very first page of Hindisght! :happybounce: My angsty black and white baby that I never thought anyone else would read. Day56 - Happy Cry  ...and which I haven't updated since last year. scared.... 'the 2nd'  I'm not a very good parent....

But thank you so much to all of you who still reads it! :love:  Seeing new people finding it, and old readers popping in to re-read the whole thing, has given me a huge motivational boost! :aww: You have no idea how much it means to me, guys! Day100 - Squealing :heart: I'm still easing my way back to drawing (after a major art-block, partly caused by my unforgiving job). I don't know when I'll be able to post the next page, but I know that I still want to finish this comic. :nod: Meanwhile, don't worry if I post some other stuff. I haven't given up on my son.:hero:

Hey Myrling. So it's now been about 5 years since you've been active on this site. I'm not innocent enough to believe you'll ever be back so I'm very aware I might be yelling into a void here, but that's ok! I'll type out some feelings anyway and if you see them you see them, if you don't you don't. Either is ok.

I've been watching you since I was 13. The first accounts I ever made online were to follow you, you're the reason my username ends in "ling." I specifically followed for turtle tots, but stuck around for many other reasons. Back then an upload from you was the highlight of my day. You introduced me to the world of the TMNT fandom and therefore are the reason I met 2/4 of my best friends. I know it wasn't intentional, you were just having fun! But I still want to thank you for it anyway.


I'm now 20 and I'm about 9 weeks off graduating from university. My childhood firmly ended a few years ago now, but this feels like the real end of it. So obviously now is the time to get super nostalgic (instead of doing my assignments XD). I quit drawing at 14 because I felt like I'd never be good enough, I'm not 20 and I'm slowly accepting it's ok to be worse then I was at 14. I'll get there again. I'm also learning a language and guitar. In 2026 I'm planning to move away from home for good, and I've got plans to start fertility treatments to have a baby by the time I'm 24 (encouraged by my doctor due to a medical issue that means I'll probably be infertile by 25). It's a lot of new beginnings to me, and god I'm so excited for all of them!!!!


Thank you for being such an important part of keeping my childhood bright. Because of things like your art I'm still here today and I'm doing really well. If you see this in time, I hope you have a good Halloween and a Merry Christmas!!!
