I am a digital photographer and I use my Canon EOS 550D (Rebel T2i) DSLR with various lenses. Camera

A brief overview of my life: I live with my twin brother and my puppy Louie. Im in college at USF! I was born and raised in Tampa and am in DESPERATE need of an overseas vacation. I am half Colombian and half Arabic Earth . Now back to photography...

I like to shoot a lot of landscapes and nature, but then again this may be because I pretty much live alone and my neighborhood isnt too exciting.

I havent gotten into any post production editing yet, so right now what you see is what you get. Straight from my SDHC.

I have many MANY other photographs lying around I just havent found the time to put them up. And... Im a perfectionist so I think a lot of them are terrible, lol

Photography Phases

If you may or may not be able to tell, I seem to be going through a Black and White photography phase right about now. Maybe because it's been raining outside for the past few days? :( Or maybe its just because I love how black and white brings out the pure look of something.I feel shooting in Monochrome really adds to the effect of an object. I think this addition can most easily be seen in Macro, or close up shots. However, this also plays in well with faces, portraits and the soft contours of people's faces. That being said, there might be more and more Monochrome shots being uploaded to this page. I hope you dont get tired of me... :DP...

Colombia

SOOOooo I'll be going to Colombia in July with some family. I cant wait. Not only is this a great opportunity to visit the city where my father was born and grew up, but it should offer up some incredible photo opportunities :earth:. I have a backpack that is ideal for hiking that I plan to bring along. Ill most likely only bring my Tamron 18-270mm and my Canon 18-55. I also plan to bring my tripod just in case the moment shall arise. I need to remember to buy a new memory card for my Canon, hopefully one with higher capacity then the one I have now.I cant WAIT!!!! Let the countdown begin! Less that 2 months! :DJust thought Id put this up ...

Mosquitos!!

Sooo I was outside for a few minutes setting things up for some various night shots. You know, the Moon, the constelations, UFOs, the usual :). After about 5 minutes of prep I couldnt stand it anymore. I knew the summer had come. I had bites all down my legs and ankles and even one or two on my forehead! Damn bugs. Damn Florida...So after a quick walk back home I put on some long pants and ventured back out. Word to the wise - if you're shooting in Florida on a hot summer night cover up or you'll be bugged with bugs while trying to focus in on your subject.Just thought Id share this stupid little story to get my mind off itching my ankles. :D
