Hello hello guys! Welcome to my DA! I have been on DeviantArt for ages, although this is not my first account. I have been on this account since 2015 or so, and I've always held it dear to me. Since DA Eclipse was forced on us, I haven't been quite as active here socially, but I will always continue to post my work here so long as this account and the site itself stands. 

I'm MidMist, and it's super nice to meet you! I go by Via, among various other names! I'm a freelance digital artist. I have been\working with digital art for about 10 years, and I specialize in SFW feral art, but am working to expand to more realistic animals, anthros, and humanoids! I'm typically kinda shy and awkward, but love to talk to people and make new friends, so feel free to leave a comment, note me, or add my Discord! I swear I don't bite! Promise! I have lots of silly little hyperfixations, and work as a Head Admin for the Lumythews Closed Species, so feel free to ask talk about them with me!

My mental health is kiiinda shit, like a lot of people really, but I'm relatively self-aware, and work super hard to better and care for myself each day! I super don't tolerate toxic or unfair behavior for any reason, and I'm definitely not the type to post a ton of negative stuff.

I draw often, but posting isn't my strong suit, especially since the whole DeviantArt Eclipse disaster. Sometimes I forget to post for a few months, and then end up posting massive bursts, but I'm trying to get better with it! I'm super sorry if I ever spam tf out of your notifs because of this!

Learn About the Lumythew Species

As a Head Admin for the Lumythew species, I post a LOT of Lumythew art! I figured with this in mind that I should probably host a bit of species info on my own page! I've added everything I can think of that'd be necessary without adding an overwhelming amount of info!

Info

Lumythews are a closed feline species hosted primarily on Instagram and Discord! They're essentially bug cats, but they have lots of fun lore and mutations to spice them up!

Lore

What Lumythew lack in standard trait individuality, they make up for with ease in lore! This is largely because of our heavy focus on world-building and story potential! The world of Lumynior is vast, and there's so much to discover in its darkened landscapes!

Community

As mentioned, Lumythews are hosted primarily on Discord and Insta! We post adopts and events to Instagram daily, but the Discord is really where it's at! We have games, shops, a great community, and a group of super active staff!
