Since most people are well aware of how broken the DA search bar is and how long it has been broken for this is a guide of how I usually search stuff. First and foremost when you search something always click either view all or Deviations after you make a search click Popular this century and then select Most recent. That is all you need to do to make your search results reasonable as of this guides posting. I will also add a fair warning in that most recent might not be the most recent because of some sort of timezone bug where a post might say "yesterday" despite it being posted 2 hours ago and is pushed way back in the search results of most recent. Other than that everything else should (hopefully) be functional.
