Fan Art Friday: Jurassic Park
Jurassic Park
is a science fiction franchise created by Michael Crichton and brought to life on screen by Steven Spielberg in 1993. At its core, it’s a thrilling exploration of humanity’s ambition, hubris, and the unintended consequences of tampering with nature. The story begins on Isla Nublar, a remote island where billionaire John Hammond has created a one-of-a-kind theme park featuring living, breathing dinosaurs, resurrected through advanced genetic engineering. While Hammond envisions a world of wonder and profit, the park’s tightly controlled ecosystem quickly unravels, leading to chaos when the dinosaurs break free. As paleontologists, scientists, and visitors struggle to survive, Jurassic Park delivers a perfect blend of cutting-edge science, moral dilemmas, and heart-pounding action, becoming a cultural phenomenon that continues to captivate audiences through sequels, books, and merchandise.
For me, Jurassic Park remains a timeless masterpiece. It seamlessly blended

... It's snowing outside. It's Christmas Eve. There are old memories and memories yet to be ...
He was a kid of about seventeen, tall, lean, his hair the bright colour of the Sun, more so the tan. He came bobbing up and down the road, struggling ferociously with his balance, mastering his runaway bike, quite the challenge on the severely uneven ground. The locals, each, gave what to their minds were very clear instructions as to how to get there, but to me the situation was not so clear: various reports of secret pathways, more than plenty of growth and new growth after the rain and the plant life cheerfully shot many feet up, successfully covering everything beyond it except for the blue, blue sky. In short – I got lost. Maybe not so much

FOUNDERS' DAY
“Far, far away,
O'er the thunderous sea,
Find love for a day,
And then you'll hear from me.”

“Dead!” the man cried out. “She’s hanged herself!”
“Lord help us all,” muttered a woman who’d been standing near at hand.
“What am I to do?” the speaker was apparently the husband, and he went to his knees, right there on the wet planks on the narrow strand of town where the fishing boats were all moored. People began to gather around him as they waited for the authorities.
For my part, I stood watching, from the small foot bridge that crossed what had once been a tributary. Before the outburst from the man, I’d been in a rush, for I was on my way to telling my friend the good news about the upcoming event. In the wake of the declaration, I almost forgot.
When I did get in motion again, heading towards the weather beaten houses that faced out at the sound, I chanced to run into the same friend.
“What’s happened, Roy?” he asked me, and it seemed
