Manage and Schedule Journal Drafts in Studio
Journal drafts are joining the party in the Studio! Previously, unfinished drafts of journals could only be found in the Posts tab on your Profile, but with this and a few other quality-of-life improvements, Studio is the one-stop place to manage needs of both your visual and written deviation drafts!
Manage Journal Drafts
In the Drafts section of your Studio, navigate to the "Journals" tab at the top, right next to "Media" and "Literature," and make any edits you need. Journal drafts are still available in their previous home in Profile > Posts > and selecting "Drafts" from the dropdown.
Schedule Journals
As with other types of content, you can now schedule journal drafts through your Studio. Simply go to Drafts > Journals > Click the “...” on the far right of the draft > Select "Schedule," and set your preferred publish time. You can also bulk schedule by checking the boxes to the left of each item and selecting from the "Edit" menu.

A Beginners Guide to Customizing Your Profile by team, journal
A Beginners Guide to Customizing Your Profile
Learn easy ways to customize your profile!
Do you want to customize your profile on DeviantArt? Whether you’re trying to personalize your space for the first time or have been decorating your profile for years, here are some tips and tricks to make your profile feel like home.
Theme Is Everything
To start personalizing your Profile, first come up with an idea for the overall vibe you want it to have. This can range from simply selecting a color palette based on colors you like (or artwork in your Gallery) to deciding what backgrounds you want to use to add interesting elements to your Profile. Go with whatever suits your vision!
How to Customize
Add a Cover Image
Adding a Profile cover image is a great starting point for all deviants, and it’s easy to do!
When creating a cover image for your Profile, the recommended dimensions are 1600 pixels by 800 pixels and 1920x1080 resolution at minimum, so the image fits well and appears clearly for all viewers.

DeviantArt’s current beta testing program launched in September of 2023, replacing the old beta testing program that had been in place for two decades. The username symbol tied to the previous beta testing program is officially being retired, and deviants who still have the symbol will receive a commemorative profile badge in its place.
Thank you to all previous and current beta testers for helping make DeviantArt a better place! If you want to join the beta testing program, add the journal to your favourites so you can be involved in future tests.

Under the Floor...
What do I remember most vividly about summers at Aunt Wig's house? No.
The thing that I recall most clearly--with such awful immediacy that even now, thirty years later, I still leap out of bed in a stark cold sweat, was the trap door in Aunt Wig's pantry.
Don't get me wrong...I loved going to Aunt Wig's in the summer; she was the quintessential Fun Auntie, a superb cook and storyteller, with an encyclopedic knowledge of racy limericks ("Don't tell your Mom," she'd giggle, watching me roll on the floor in fits of epileptic mirth)...and she was tough as nails, which one had
