Hi everyone! I'm going to start making these little journals about important facts every MLP artist should know.

THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH HAVING AN ALICORN OC I just want to talk about this before I start getting hate comments, because I’ve done some research and there seems to be some hate from the fandom towards alicorn OCs. So far I’m very thankful that people like my OC, Midnight Harmony (thanks for the support guys!) I’ve done a lot of research as to why the fandom generally does not like Alicorn OCs, and the reasons are usually that they seem overpowered or are like gods/goddesses. I will not say that they are wrong: yes, alicorns are generally overpowered and have special magical capabilities. But the only reason why someone from the fandom would even make an alicorn OC in the first place is because they love MLP! What’s so wrong with that? (in my experience, Twilight Sparkle has always been “best pony” to me, and I always get so inspired whenever I rewatch some episodes of the FiM. I always find her journey throughout the seasons to be so incredible, and I wanted to create the next
