My Grandma's Team

I've recently started thinking about what kind of Pokémon teams my grandparents would have. Starting things off with my late grandma on my mom's side of the family, Miriam.

Smeargle: I think Smeargle would make a perfect partner Pokémon for my grandma. She really loved dogs and was quite crafty. Many of the things my mom inherited from her after her death were her craft supplies, which my mom still treasures and uses to this day years later. I think maybe she'd name her Smeargle Toby, the name of her beloved dog.

Dachsbun: Another dog for my grandma's team! Had to let her have this lovable loaf as part of her team!

Leavanny: Another crafty Pokémon for my crafty grandmother. I bet they'd have a lot of fun making crafts of all kinds together.

Phantump: My grandmother was actually quite the spiritual woman who truly believed in spirits. One of her favorite shows was Ghost Hunters, and she passed her DVD copies onto my mom when she passed. My grandmother also lived in the woods for quite a few years before she needed extra help as she got older and moved closer to her family. Giving her the possessed tree Pokémon was just too perfect for her to resist.

Chandelure: Another Ghost Type for my spiritual grandmother. It has a sense of elegance to it that fits my grandmother well who had quite the taste for antiques.

Mimikyu: Finally, a crafty Ghost Type Pokémon like Mimikyu to finish off my grandma's team for her to adore!
