I was thrilled when I first saw this illustration because,
1. I absolutely love the theme
2. I love the pose and I find that it really matches the theme
and
3. This was very skillfully executed (which the judges also recognized). The designs on the amulet of Mara look beautifully done and I like the hatching throughout the illustration.
