Description
When I first heard about the Created faction in the Halo universe, there would most likely have to be a Rebel militia faction to go with it. Think Half-Life 2's Combine occupation but with a Halo skin on it.

After the start of the Created Uprising, born a multi-species Insurrectionist militia organization comprised of UNSC personnel and Swords of Sanghelios members known as the "Grand Revolt". Even SPARTAN supersoldiers are classified as "Insurrectionists" by the Created leaders, in spite of the former being designed for counter-insurgency in mind. Many members sport a reversed CC (stylized as "Ɔ") as a vulgar symbol of opposition to rule by the Created, from tattoos to graffiti. Many of their gear are generally UNSC and Covenant assets marked with the Grand Revolt emblem and usually wear jury-rigged Forerunner combat skins looted from various "cyborg" troops of the Created.

It’s criminal how little we’ve actually got of the Created conflict in canon, given how big and all-consuming it is as a concept. It feels like the books are the only things that paid it any respect but didn’t delve into the meat and potatoes of the war out of anticipation that the next game after Halo 5 would. The Banished are cool as hell but they should NOT have been the main villains of Infinite.
