It's funny how I never write journals on here.  It's been over a year.  Ha.  Oops.  Oh well.  I doubt many people read these anyway. ;)It's been an eventful summer!  I finished up my junior year of college in May, and on the 18th, I left for a 10-week adventure in Costa Rica.  Living with a host family (who only spoke Spanish, by the way), I was an English language teacher at a church in Barrio Cuba, a suburb of San José.  While in the country, I did SO many amazing things:Weekend One: Bungee jumping and ziplining Weekend Three: Irazu Volcano, Lankester Gardens (home of over 1500 different kinds of orchids), and the Orosi Valley. As y'all could probably guess from my most recent pictures, I just got back from HAWAII!  I got in on Monday morning, at approximately 7:45a.m. after a 7-hour flight from Honolulu.  It was a fantastic trip; I'm not even going to try to tell y'all everything that I did over the days I was there.  But, here's a glimpse! The BEACH, of course!! Shopping, shopping, and more shopping!  I actually didn't get much--three t-shirts and a pair of TOMS.  I think that was it for me.  Except everyone else's souvenirs went in MY suitcase for the trip back to Texas.  When I checked my bag at the airport to go to Hawaii, it weighed 35 pounds.  Going home? ...

Another year at Texas A&M has come and gone, and the summer has begun!  Well, sort of begun.  I may be home, but I'm still taking classes.  I took a three-week minimester of statistics that ended on Friday, and today, I've started an online business law class.  Funny story behind that one.  I was supposed to be taking a management class, but it ended up being cancelled because there were too few students enrolled.  And guess when I found that out?  TODAY.  I frantically logged onto the community college's website to figure out something else to take.  Called my advisor at Texas A&M to see what else would transfer.  What I'm taking transfer...
