Walter Gordon is a native of Chicago, currently living in Washington, D.C. He graduated with a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2017. His work is primarily in oil painting, with other work in graphite and charcoal drawings, and printmaking.

Artist Statement: My work is primarily in the tradition of the expressionist/symbolist, and thus my artwork uses the visual language of the real world as a means to encourage the viewer to critically reflect on themselves and their environment.
