Somewhere in the Land of Ooo, a very pale skinned woman with long, flowing hair as black as night as floating a few feet above ground, humming to herself as she strummed an axe-shaped guitar.
"let's seeee...(strums a cord) Naw, that doesn't sound right." spoke the woman.
"Dang it, Marceline! You can do this. You're the AWESOME Vampire Queen, remember!??"
Marceline stopped, and continued to strum some random strings on her guitar. Her ruby eyes then turned full red as she started to get frustrated.
Hissing like a serpent, she began strumming her guitar with such fury, that it might've made even the hardest heavy metal player blush.
The quote/unquote 'Music' that she created then created a burst of energy, which surrounded the Vampire/Demon half breed, swirling around her like a vortex.
"WHAT THE FROCK!!?" exclaimed Marceline, as she was engulfed by the strange energy.

well, all but one: Beast Boy. sleep didn't come easy for him, anymore.
not after the incident several weeks ago.
thanks to strange chemicals infecting his already unstable DNA, Beast Boy had transformed into a Savage 'WereBeast' when under extreme stress, or Rage.
a villain by the name of Adonis had also been infected by those same chemicals. and, contact with Beast Boy mixed with the chemicals temporarily granted him a similar form.
when Adonis broke into the tower to attack him, Raven got caught in the middle.
and, despite defeating Adonis and protecting Raven, Beast Boy Wasn’t a hero.
...or at least he wasn't treated like one.
It wasn't until later, that the other titans discovered Adonis's involvement.
and until Then, Beast Boy (or, his WereBeast form) was blamed for Raven's injuries.
He was attacked, restrained and threatened with jail.

Not far from the Wartwood Village, a Giant Beetle was walking down a path with an old, grizzled Toad riding atop of it on a saddle. The Toad was Grimes, once a Captain of Toad Tower.
He was now retired, happily spending his golden years training his successor.
...who was currently sitting behind him at the rear of the Beetle.
"you have been awfully quiet, Sasha." spoke Grimes. "anything you wish to discuss??"
Sasha was silent as she stared at the departing path. "no."
Grimes breathed out, and whipped the reins of the Goliath Beetle. "we are nearly at the Plantar Farm."
"good." said Sasha, who started to rub her left eye.
Grime was no fool. He knew Sasha well enough to know that she was indeed troubled.
and the old toad had a pretty good inkling on what was on the blonde woman's mind.
