       Background: Her parents are pro hero’s. Her mother having a Hair Kinesis quirk while her father has a Hair Hypnotic quirk. When she was a child she was bright and happy but that all changed when her quirk developed. In middle school was ostracized for having a quirk that was perceived as evil and was told that she was destined to be a villain. Upon entering high school she didn’t care to make any friends but bonded with the class president Miwa Saito because she didn’t see her as evil. Although their personalities are quite different, she became close friends with Ayano Momoiji and Inasa Yaorashi.
During the licensing exams, she met Hitoshi Shinsō. She saw that his quirk involved mind control. After the exams, she approached him and asked if his is seen as evil. The two bonded over how a person’s quirk doesn’t make them good or evil. Their heart does.

       Description: Yumemi has pale skin. Due her quirk, she often suffers from insomnia and usually has dark circles in her eyes. When not controlling her hair, it touches the ground. The longer her hair the more range her hypnotic has. Because of this she can become quirkless if she cuts it. She dislikes this because she wants to shave her head.

       Personality: open first glance, Yumemi may seem careless and apathetic. This because her middle school experience. She form a “wall” around her and isolated her self from people over time. Once she able to open up, she is seen as a caring person who really wants to become a hero. She wants to prove people wrong about her quirk. She firmly believes that a persons heart makes them good or evil and not their quirk. She doesn’t care much for the school work aspect of being a student and often fails her coursework. She only put in the effort when trying to get into Shiketsu High. She excels at hero training though.
Quirk and Abilities
   Quirk: REM manipulation
   Type: Emitter
   Description: Her quirk is a combination of her parents quirks: Hair kinesis and Hair Hypnotic. By using kinesis, she is able to put people into REM (rapid eye movement) sleep and then control them and their quirk (if she knows and understands how it works). She braids her hair to make a “pendulum” so people can focus on her hair.
       + Advantages:
       - she can put anyone to sleep that requires sleep (people who have quirks that prevent sleep are immune)
       - she doesn’t have to move much when fighting
       - she can control up to 5 people at a time
       - her quirk is great to incapacitating people so they be arrested.
-her quirk itself is mid to long range but with her ability to control other people’s quirks makes her any range
 
       - Disadvantages:
       - it requires a massive amount of focus to control people. This can give her migraines
       - the effect only lasts for 5 minutes. The effect can be shortened if she distracted, moving too much, or is controlling multiple people
       - she isn’t suitable for any type of hand to hand combat
       - the person becomes temporarily immune to her quirk when they wake up
