Description
This specimen first emerged in Guam soon after the San Francisco attack in 2014 and she reappeared for multiple times, searching for radioactive substances to feed, devastating naval facilities, submarines and nuclear power plants worldwide. This hostile superspecies, although deceased, is now further studied, revealing her reproductive cycles, relationships with the two M.U.T.O.s, and her behavior through ancient myths and histories.
<Classification>
This superspecies share anatomical similarities to the existing M.U.T.O.s, both possessing three pairs of forelimbs and a pair of hind legs, being hunchbacked, and having an armor-plated head. Through metamorphosis, M.U.T.O. Prime has one pair of three-toed forelimbs enlarged, covered in orange mass of muscles and attached a smaller limb for support, a pair of tow-toed forelimbs with long claws, and a pair of one-toed forelimbs located in front of her abdomen. Her hind legs are three-toed, unlike the existing M.U.T.O. specimens’ two-toed legs, taller and more muscular. M.U.T.O. Prime also gains ovipositors from her face and mandibles as prize for longevity.
M.U.T.O. Prime is seen as an origin species of the two M.U.T.O.s in the year 2014, which means she and them have separate reproductive cycles. M.U.T.O. Prime is a parasite in majority, planting spores of M.U.T.O.s in two sexes into target Titans; the pair are specialized to reproduce sexually. Every new hatchling from spores is an attempt for the M.U.T.O. species to propagate. If the propagation is successful, a new M.U.T.O. Prime should be chosen, inheriting varied traits and abilities to the prior.
This once active M.U.T.O. Prime specimen is believed to specialize in hunting and taking advantages of the Godzilla species, Titanus gojira. This is reflected through her abilities to tackle Godzilla, and killing Species 5146_ADAM, also known as Dagon of Titanus gojira. Her children also gained the electromagnetic abilities from their hosts, Dagon. If one female of the batch born from these two parents is able to metamorphose into the new M.U.TO. Prime, she might gain similar abilities as well as. It is possible for the creation of an M.U.T.O. species with abilities other than EMPs if the prioritized host is not the Godzillas, for example a flying M.U.T.O. Prime born from a winged Titan host.
<Abilities>
M.U.T.O Prime may utilize her gigantic forelimbs to transmit seismic waves, shattering the Earth and inducing earthquakes. The orange muscular masses are tissues that produce vibrations that create tremors in Earth. Once the Earth is liquefied, she can burrow and travel underground at ease. The “bio-seismic” nature of the Titan is now suggested to be the origin of the EMP abilities seen from the male and female M.U.T.O.s.
Sonic screeches and blasts are specific ability for the Titan. It is developed to have the same frequency to that of the dorsal plates of Titanus gojira, so that they shatter in resonance.
M.U.T.O. Prime can also stretch her four ovipositors for attacks, impaling foes with the spiky tips at the front.
Unlike sub-species M.U.T.O.s, she gained a shell with razor-sharp protrusions that hurt the offenders.
<History>
This Titan was passed in Japanese regions as the “Jishin Mushi”, or known as “Earthquake Beetle”. Because of the specimen’s ferocious nature, she was also referred as the “Dragon Beetle”. After her emergence, Monarch decided to designate her as Titanus jinshinmushi, and as an origin species of the M.U.T.O.s, M.U.T.O. Prime.
M.U.T.O. Prime has history dated back in 1100 B.C.E, where she engaged in a fierce battle with Dagon, another Titanus gojira member. The process was recorded by the ancient Japanese and they called it a “duel between Raijin and Jishin Mushi”. In this arc of her history, she implanted the spores inside of Dagon’s abdomen, which they became the two M.U.T.O.s in the San Francisco attack. Despite this being the earliest sighting record of the Titan, she maybe even older than what the humans has ever recorded and bears a far more ancient background.
Perhaps recognizing her children’s death, the prime herself reappeared to the world in 2014 and rivalled against Godzilla, the last of his kind. She was finally defeated after several rounds of fight-and-flight with Godzilla, ironically killed by nuclear pulse released from the dorsal side of Godzilla she wounded.
