Photography to me is a form of art. Some choose to compose music, to paint or carve wood, I choose to take pictures: my form of self-expression. It is this artistic aspect that allows me to express my feelings and emotions to the viewer through the images I capture. I compose something that has my passion, my ideas, and my thoughts in it. It's a part of me, an imprint of my relation to the scenery, to the things that surround me. The objects or people I choose to record are parts of the world. Once I push the button they form a closed whole, and start a new life. I have frozen time and recorded history in the making. When I hold my camera, I start to view things from my own perspective, and when I push the button, I create.
I have been shooting photos for two years now, and I’m happy to say that I have captured moments in time that will never happen again. To me that is a triumph. It's amazing how a captured moment is capable of carrying a whole story, a chain of movements. It is the beauty, the complexity, the freedom, and the mystery of art. I use my imagination and I always remember that there are no boundaries to what I can create.
