You keep getting deeper, and I keep falling further,

but my daily dose of Reality catches me,

every time and drags me up to the top of the hole, to the start again.

The Doctor called Right and the nurse named Life hand me a prescription for daily use,

as well as directions for a different path, but I find myself unhealthy and back.

Back to the hole that you've dug so low. Low in my heart and your mind and soul.

Back to Ms. Wrong and her picket sign, that reads,

"Turn back now or you'll be in too deep."

Deeper than the sleep when you're in my dreams.

Deeper than the tears seeping in my seams.
