It is actually a photographic process we are using in our photgraphy class at tafe. It comes in a bottle and you have to warm it in water for about 10-15 mins as it solidifies when cold. Then you can paint almost any surface to make it light sensitive(like photo paper). I used sandpaper,stonehenge paper and some pieces of silk. The item you use needs to have some tooth so the liquid light will adhere. Some people tried canvases but it just slid right off them. I think they come with size on them or something which reacts badly with the liquid light.
