And here's the finished piece. Pretty pleased with how it turned out. Certainly need to work on grass... But for the most part I like it. One of the few very detailed (for me, this is very detailed) backgrounds that I've done. At first, I wasn't even going to do it in colour, but then I feared I'd lose poor Kaijuu in all the pencilness. XD
Yeah, this is Kaijuu, for all who don't know. He's one of my role playing characters on Furcadia, though there is definitely more to him than meets the eye.

Why is this Kaijuu rather than Gaki? Because Gaki wouldn't have such a pose about him and such confidence (positioning of the tail: sign of dominance). Were this Gaki, his tail would likely be lowered and his expression different. (For those really confused, see the link above. The category explanation should clear up what I'm talking about.)

Thanks to *DragonRider788 for the background image reference ([link]). I really liked the scenery, yet I also didn't want to copy it exactly (bahahaha, as if I could do that) so there are some differences. Still, thanks, since I had no idea what to do for the background. XD
