I woke up yesterday morning, had breakfast, then went back to sleep. I then slept all day and all night, as if I were making up for every night of insomnia I ever experienced. During this extended sleep, I dreamed I was floating like a leaf in the wind, through grungy tunnels, being pursued by cloaked beings. Sometimes a machine would activate when I came near and try to drill into my flesh. I stared it down until it melted into a minion and retreated from me. "I wish Amaril were here." I saw his graceful, pearly arms come out of the ground, so I lifted him up. He had a beard, which isn't my thing, but I didn't care because he gave me that smile of his that lets me know he's overjoyed to see me. I held him by his cozy waist and we floated through the dark tunnels where I had been chased. Everything felt right with the world until I woke up.

So, the night before, I dreamed I was Amaril. I sat at a restaurant and was dismayed to discover an item called Unicorn Loops on the menu. It looked like chopped up intestines. Outraged, I shouted, "This is illegal!" and was ready to start a crusade against the restaurant.
