Chapter 35: The Jitterbug and Flying Monkeys   Third-Person: The haunted forest was all dark and creepy; it was filled with dark, towering, and dead trees. There was a tree with a gnarled face that was enough to scare the living dickens out of any curious adventurer that dared to adventure through the forest. Ravens and owls sat on the twisted branches as they hooted and cawed with their red eyes glowing bright as fiery red rubies, sending shivers up anyone’s spines. On the ground were numerous dead leaves that carpeted the entire floor with some steep hills. There was a rotted wooden sign that had a painted face of a smiling ghost.
