SpeedPaint - 6

Well, I was out of ideas for some stuff to paint, so I went to sxc to find some photo refs I could use and try and learn some techniques on facial / human paintings. I heavily used the reference for the colors and original sketch so I could try and determine some brushes and strokes that worked. I promise I'm trying to get to a point where I can paint stuff without refs.

I found a picture a girl had taken of herself and I thought it was perfect for what I was looking for. She has a really beautiful face. The pic also had a great range of color for me to begin sampling skin-tone colors to save as photoshop pallets.
