My father made them. Those were way too high above my skill level! The chakrams were made from one piece of wood except for the edges on the spikes that make it 3D. Basically, once we had the pattern and dimensions figured out, he cut out the basic shape in one piece and attached the other pieces of the spikes with wood glue. Then it was a long process of carving down the edges to make it pretty and realistic and not-boxy.
LOVE! OMG, I'd pay so much money to see Lestat crawl out of the swamp at some random moment of that movie! Very well done!
