Ability: Drought
Arcanine has always been in my top ten list of both favorite pokemon and things I would ride into battle. I remember seeing that bad, fire-breathin' sumbitch on TV when I was a kid and losing my mind. Nintendo even teased him as a legendary in the original pokedex entries for him. Unfortunately, Arcanine suffers from somewhat mediocre stats and typing, as well as a lame movepool. Mega evolution time!
Like Charizard, Arcanine takes a level up in badass and gains a Dragon typing. He comes onto the battle field, Drought activates, and he proceeds to murder the shit out of any opposition. Ooh, your rival sent out a water type? Solar beam, bitches, don't even need a turn to charge it
