ASTRAL - Antigone light armoured vehicle

The Antigone "Arimov" (ARmoured hIgh MObility Vehicle) was another Exploratorium adaptable production pattern that saw extensive use during the first stages of the Ohirume Colonial Initiative, both as a light personnel transport and as a security operations platform for light escorts and patrols.

Lightweight, compact and speedy, the Antigone showed initial promise in the traitorous wastes but the lack of any meaningful air treatment onboard and the open top design of the turreted variant drastically reduced the optimal operational readiness of crews during bad weather. This lead to most Arimov platforms being relegated to specialized small-scale supply runs and close-distance scouting missions, leaving its initial role to be filled by better-equipped but heavier HELICON trucks.
