I finally updated my website! Now I need to make more art to put in it! I've been doing crochet katamaris and looking up kanzashi , of which there are many beautiful samples here on DA. Another art I utterly admire but suspect I'll never master is shodo, Japanese calligraphy. It's only now I've followed some proper instruction from a book that I've gotten an insight into what sort of skills a person would need to refine for it. TERRIBLY DIFFICULT, but amazing when you see the work of a true master. Like all Japanese arts :')

Last entry; 2009. Alright. It's 2011 baby, let's change that.So what's up? Crochet. A lot of crochet. And papercutting. I'm doing the Art House Co-op's sketchbook project, so hopefully I'll have more pictures up from that. Here's my page for those interested. I'm getting back into digital sketching too, back to basics. I'm so torn, I'm loving chunky, blocky painterly concept art and the crisp sharp exaggerated comicky style of 60's illustration (yes, Mad Men suckered me too) and I just want to do it all at once. Is it a good thing to be Jack of all trades but master of none?
