Artists play "in the dark..." Especially since Macular took one eye nearly away.
It is in the dark shadows whether color or black and white, that an artist truly creates. The light stays alone. The mists of darkness are what artists mold, shape, scupt, push and prod...regardless of the tools. It is darkness that allows the artist to play in it's realm. Revel in the dark where the colors live, the lines, the shapes, the perspective, and do not fear it.
Sorry about the delay....had another surgery on my wrist this time, 2 years after the back surgery...and have lost one eye to macular degeneration spot. So...it may be eventually I will have to stop sketching....but I'm going to do it until the light dims.
