The shop had been keeping Lady L busy the past few months due to the flocks of tourists who were in town for the GBU tournament. Stretching her legs for the first time in weeks, it wasn't long until Lady L ran into a young trainer who fortunately was as hungry for a battle as she was. Silph co's heir, Jake Cartwright and his team of quirky pokémon seemed promising.

The team had never battled a shiny Charizard; regular ones were quite rare as it was, and despite its size, Lady L's rapidash Marigold was able to keep up thanks to her racing lineage. Dashing and dodging, Marigold bounced into the sky, her flash fire shielding her from the Charizard's searing Fireblast; her mane and tail engulfed into wings of flame that carried her higher and higher to her target.


It's been a while since my last battle, I really miss doing thes-ANDOHLOOKTRAINERSFINALLYOMG

I wanted a really dramatic perspective, and didn't quite get what I was hoping for, but this works okay. I also didn't want the rapidash to be painfully obvious either, just a big pretty ball of flame.
