Sorry I haven't been very active on here lately.  I went to Disneyland at the end of August.  And then I just got back from Halloween Horror Nights (Orlando.)  Both trips were great!  But all the traveling means I've gotten pretty behind on editing photos.  So now I'm busy playing catch up!

I hope to get back to posting regularly on here soon!

I was in a car accident right before I left for HHN.  I'm fine, but my car is totaled.  I love my car so much, so I'm pretty devastated about it.  But I am very thankful that I wasn't hurt in the accident.

So I've been a member of Swagbucks since 2009.  But back in the summer of 2022 I discovered Swagit.  Swagit is Swagbuck's video sharing website...  like, their version of TikTok.  I started posting videos on there and got really into it.  And I had a lot of success on Swagit and made a lot of money by sharing my videos.  

But sadly, all good things must come to an end.  Last month Swagbucks announced that they would be shutting down Swagit.  I was pretty devastated.  Not only was it a great source of income, but I made a lot of friends on there and I really enjoyed the community.  Plus, I had a lot of fun taking videos to share!  

So at the beginning of this month, I found myself with a TON of videos and no place to share them.  So I started a new YouTube channel.  It's not much.  I don't really vlog or anything.  I mostly stick to the shorts format.  I'm basically sharing the same content I was making for Swagit.

I'm still majorly bummed about Swagit.  But I used all of my earnings from the year I was on there to buy some new cameras!  I used my Swagit money to buy a Bonzart Ziegel, an Insta360 Go2, an Insta360 X3, a Panasonic Lumix ZS200, a Canon Powershot V10 and a Sony RX0 II.  So I do have lots of new toys to play with!  But ugh, I really do miss Swagit so much!

If you've noticed, I've been much less active here on dA lately.  That's been for a couple reasons.  First of all, my hours changed at work.  So I've been adjusting to the new hours, trying to figure out a new routine.  The time of day I used to be on dA I am no longer able to be on dA then.  So it's been a bit of a struggle trying to work something new out.

Additionally, I was recently diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis.  Which means I have 2 autoimmune diseases.  (I also have Hashimoto's.)  Such fun.  So yeah, in addition to trying to adjust to a new routine, I'm also dealing with severe pain and fatigue.  

The result of all of this is that I have gotten way behind on editing photos. So now I'm busy playing catch up.  I'm not sure when I'll be back to being active on here and posting regularly.  For now I just want to focus on catching up on my editing.

So yes, I am still here!  I might not be around much in the next few weeks, but I do fully intend to return to regularly activity here on dA.

Sorry I've been pretty absent from dA recently.  

As many of you know, I work as a travel agent.  The agency I was with for 3 years kinda sorta imploded last year.  Turns out the owner of the agency was embezzling hundreds of thousands of dollars from the travel agents that worked for her.  So things got pretty messy.  And some things are still messy.  A lot of agents are owed thousands and thousands of dollars that it is likely they will never see.  

But I am very happy to report that I am with a brand new travel agency!  The agency that I'm with now is called Explorers Club Travel Co.  We are a travel co-op.  This means that the founders of the agency and the agents all have equal power.  This business model puts people before profits.  

So lately I've just been very busy switching everything over from my old agency to my new agency.  It's taken up a lot more of my time than I anticipated.  But now I'm mostly done!  So I should be back to posting regularly on dA very soon!
